Half Naked Thursday!!

Welcome to Half Naked Thursday. It's obvious from the picture that I'm in public, therefore, not actually naked -- half or otherwise -- because I'm just not that kind of girl. What's also obvious is that I'm dancing. I'm dancing at Karen and John's wedding last October, and as you can see, my girls standing behind me are not dancing. Which makes me think that perhaps I'm jamming out to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia." In case you didn't know, I love this song. Oh so very much. And therefore I was THRILLED when the DJ put it on at the reception. While my girls all like this song, no one was as ecstatic as I was about it, and clearly? I didn't care. You know why? Because by this point in the evening, I had had, *ahem*, a few vodka tonics and some champagne. If by "some" you mean "mine and everyone elses's at the head table." Mmmmmm. Champagne. Yaaaayyyy "The Devil Went Down to Georgia"!! Oh, and also, since that's Kendra standing there with her back to me (see how they are??), this is serving as her contribution to HNT. Happy HNT!

That's such a fun picture!! If I have any amount of alcohol, I'm dancing on bars and tables and any song is my favorite song. ;)

Oh, but I also love this song because I even know its accompanying LINE DANCE. Oh, leftover knowledge from sorority SongFest days.

I think at that moment you actually believed that the devil had gone down to georgia and you were dancing for him. Please post our favorite picture of you at the wedding. I think you owe it to your dedicated blog readers.

I'm here to tell you that I will personally kill anyone (Becki or Kendra -- or YOU, Karen) if they EVER POST THAT PICTURE.

And if not kill you, tell all your secrets.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, HAAAAAAAAAAA! That was me laughing the picture Amber had warned us not to post. If I can't post it, I'll giggle about it...because it really is priceless. But I would never post it - not because of the death threats - but because I hate it when people put pics of me out there without my consent and stamp of approval. And I would not get either of those from Amber on that particular pic.

I also know the line dance to that song. I dream that one day me and Amber will line dance to that song together.

This also reminds me of a picture I have of myself dancing to Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" which I might have to post next week.

Heyyyy - your hair was BLONDE!! I like it now, but it looked good then, too. Weddings are soooo much fun. That is one of the main reasons I love having a really big family with lots of cousins who get married and invite me to their weddings. Free alcohol and dancing - yay!. (But dancing ONLY after the free alcohol, of course!)

Great photo. Karen's comment made me laugh out loud. At a recent family party, I think I put on quite a show to the Grease medley.

Beck, we've been friends for 15 years. That's a lot of secrets and embarrassing moments that I could expose. I'm just sayin'...
