When the Day is Done

When the day is done
I hope you're still the same
I hope that nothing's changed with you
When the day is done

there's something in your eyes
have they seen too many lies come true
When the day is done

When the day is done

a secret I can keep
a promise I have deep with you
Oh no something's wrong

the fastest things
have slowly gone

When the day is done

I hope you're still the same
I hope that nothing's changed with you
When the day is done

there's something in your eyes
have they seen too many lies come true
When the day is done

-- The Samples

That’s it. That’s all I have right now. I love that song. It was one of the ones from our greatest hits cd, and until last weekend, I hadn't heard it in FOREVER. Since then, for some unknown reason, I’ve been listening to it constantly. I love his voice and I love the words.

My head is full of things to say and things to write about. But the words aren’t coming out right. In my real life either. I keep writing and saying the wrong things. It’s like I can’t control it. And it’s irritating.

So I’ll use someone else’s words and leave it at that.

I know exactly what you mean. And beautiful words, they are, by the way! I'm hoping something hits me quick to write about - and TBOTE is stuck... (Not to worry, though, once I can organize my thoughts and memories it will be back!!)

What do you mean you don't have the words? Don't you remember that you complete me...and my sentences??? :) Oh and also, "I think she removed her maaaaatssssshhhhhhhuuuuhhhhkktttkkktttkk of bitchiness..."
You don't have the words? At least you don't make up your own and then try to cover up the mistake. Sheesh, who would do that?

It's okay, people dont mind if you borrow thier words, you just have to send them a check.

Sometimes other people's words can express our feelings a million times better than we ever could.

I find that a lot actually!

I'm looking at YOU, Becki.

"blogger block" Blech! Hate that. I did that for about four days straight until I finally spat out everything I wanted to say, and that post turned out to be about 3 posts long. lol

Well, I hope the fog lifts and you're back to your normal self soon! :)

you can't possibly have blogger block, you've posted two things since I came here yesterday!

I wonder if I could channel your OCD thing Amber. I would like to borrow you for painting my house.

I know what you mean about songs just speaking to you for some reason, and you aren't sure why. I also know what you mean about having so much to say and being unable to get it out or control it. Here's to a more better controlled tomorrow.

at least it's friday. that's all i keep saying. it's ok if i can't talk, can't function, can't do anything.. it's friday. tomorrow i'm not EXPECTED to be able to do anything. whew.

I know how that feels exactly. I can't tell you how many of the "wrong things" that I've said in the past 6 months that I've been regretting in the past 48 hours. Sometimes, I open my mouth and the most ridiculous things come out. We should commiserate. Or, we should not think about it. But I'd still like to bond with The Amber.

Yup, I do that sometimes, too. That's how I feel right now. I absolutely love The Samples! Love them.

I hear you. Sometimes I can't find the words even though they feel like they are on the verge of coming out. At least it is Friday and the weekend is upon us! Have a great weekend, Amber! :)
